ABOUT SHILOH JUNE

My Other Lives (Part I)

In addition to music, I have a strong passion for fashion (no rhyme intended). I studied both subjects in college, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Fashion Merchandising, and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in the Business of Creative Enterprises. Below are examples of my styling and visual merchandising work, all created within brand guidelines.

BRILLIANT EARTH, JEWELRY CONSULTANT (WEST HOLLYWOOD)

March 2023-Present

Within my first five months, I became the top seller in my region and am currently ranked in the top five company-wide. I consistently maintain an average appointment conversion rate above 40%, with a high-value conversion rate of 25%. Embracing the showroom culture, I lead by example — organizing team lunches, facilitating training for new hires, and motivating peers to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer experiences. I remain flexible to meet business needs, often adjusting my schedule and supporting concierge duties as needed. Additionally, I leverage Salesforce, NetSuite, and Microsoft Office Suite to efficiently manage operations and customer interactions.

TARGET, STYLE TEAM LEADER (WEST HOLLYWOOD)

July 2020-May 2022

I led a cross-functional team across eight departments with an empathetic leadership style, driving performance during the high-volume Q4 season. I oversaw specialty sales divisions, including Electronics and Beauty, while managing shift schedules, re-merchandising initiatives, and upholding brand standards. I played a key role in transforming the store environment from a traditional big-box format to a boutique-style experience, boosting sales and enhancing customer engagement. I also trained and mentored team members, successfully promoting two into supervisory roles. In addition, I achieved 9% comp growth in the Kids Department despite space and inventory reductions, and maintained inventory accuracy above 95% in the Backroom for both Kids and Baby categories.

MUJI, IN-STORE VMD (SOCAL REGION)

November 2017- July 2020

Promoted from part-time seasonal associate to Department Manager and then Regional Visual Merchandising Supervisor, I led visual merchandising strategies across multiple locations, driving sales growth, elevating store aesthetics, and optimizing customer engagement. Key achievements include a 360% increase in accessory sales in Q2 2018, the creation of a new training role to streamline onboarding and development, and contributing to the successful launch of two new MUJI stores. I managed a team of 35+ employees, consistently demonstrating leadership, creativity, and a strong commitment to retail excellence. My performance was recognized with multiple Employee of the Month awards, highlighting my impact across the region.

Responsibilities included preparing and organizing wardrobe racks, pulling looks according to show themes or guest appearances, handling wardrobe continuity, and processing sample returns. I collaborated closely with stylists and production teams to ensure talent was camera-ready under tight timeframes, developing a strong understanding of on-air styling, brand partnerships, and the dynamics of live television production.
